Project Scope:
The Carbon County Planning
Commission desired to update Carbon County’s subdivision
regulations. The revision was necessary to make existing
regulations consistent with recent changes in Wyoming statutes
concerning subdivisions.
PPC prepared a draft set of
subdivision regulations that are being reviewed by Carbon County
at this time. The proposed regulations include a recommended
application, review and approval process for simple, minor and
major subdivisions.
These processes are supplemented
by subdivision improvement requirements and related design
criteria for design and construction. These requirements
consider streets, drainage, water and wastewater systems,
setbacks and easements, underground wiring, as well as lot and
block design.
Several appendices were also
provided to facilitate applicant’s use of the regulations to
prepare a subdivision application. Sample certifications are
also included to help communicate the scope of certifications
desired for final plat drawings. |
